He conducted thorough desktop research using several education-focused search engines and websites. His research pointed out that Ireland is buzzing with several work opportunities. Many multinational corporations have their headquarters in Ireland. He also learned that Ireland is student-friendly and has a safe environment, which will allow him to study stress-free.
Once he chose Ireland as his study abroad destination, he proceeded to find his university based on his course preferences. This directed him to 5 colleges, including TU Dublin. To increase the chances of securing a university spot, he applied to all 5 universities, and he got selected by 3. He analysed essential elements of every college and selected TU Dublin as it offers an internship at the end of his semester.
In addition to his desktop research, he also connected with an education consultant and a friend who is currently studying in Ireland. Education consultants are experts in this domain who guide students along their higher academic path. The education counsellor helped him during the documentation process. Meanwhile, his friend shared exciting information about the weather, student life and other vital aspects.

Several English language tests are available, such as the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Duolingo English Test (DET) and Pearson Test of English (PTE). Universities in the US, the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Germany and other countries widely accept these exams.
Pavan appeared for DET, which he found to be easier than the other tests. The duration of this exam is shorter than other English language exams, too. To prepare for the DET, he took several mock tests available on the official DET website. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. It is an adaptive exam, which means the difficulty of questions will change depending on the performance of the candidate. The first 5 minutes are allotted to onboarding, 45 minutes for the adaptive test, and the remaining 10 minutes for Writing and Speaking sections.
Apart from English proficiency tests, students have to appear for entrance exams such as the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), which is exclusively designed for business management courses, and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) meant for all graduate programs such as STEM and management studies. Pavan appeared for the GRE to meet his university requirements. He invested 1.5 months and studied 3-4 hours daily to prepare for this test. His friends helped him with the study material. He also explored YouTube to understand the format, types of questions asked, etc.

One of his friends recommended Avanse Financial Services due to the smooth process. So, he connected with the team Avanse and shared the documents on the second day, and to his surprise, the student loan was sanctioned on the third day. He was amazed by the quick and seamless procedure. This enabled him to pay the university fees within 10 days.
He has advised students to beware of financial institutions that advertise low interest rates or no processing fees. You never know the disadvantages and hidden costs such products may bring, which can cause you unnecessary stress.
Pavan turned to his college professors to understand the elements that should be included in an SOP. His mentors guided him in drafting an exceptional SOP that could stand out in the sea of applications. Therefore, it is necessary to build a good rapport with your college faculty members to get proper guidance.
