Let’s understand his academic journey so far

Pavan Reddy’s passion for technology encouraged him to complete his BTech in Computer Science Engineering with a specialisation in Data Science from a premier university in 2023. He passed the exam with flying colours, which further added to his zeal to pursue higher education in the same domain. Now, he will be pursuing an MS in Computer Science with a specialisation in Data Science from the Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). It is a 1-year course commencing in September 2024.

Did you know TU Dublin is Ireland’s 1st technological university? It has ~30,000 students, out of which ~2,500 are international students from ~140 countries and has campuses across 5 locations in Dublin. The university is renowned for its research and innovation initiatives. What motivated Pavan to set out on his higher academic journey?

Pavan opted for Data Science during his undergraduate studies. He learned the fundamentals of data visualisation and AI models to predict data. This piqued his interest, and he wanted to dive beyond the fundamentals. He further mapped the scope of job opportunities available in this domain. He learned from his research that plenty of Data Science jobs are available in several companies, from the banking sector to the food industry and software sector. Impressed with the potential of Data Science, he resolved to delve deeper into this subject area.

According to him, studying abroad will give him a competitive edge, which will open new pathways for him to build a lucrative career. This was his biggest motivation to study abroad after the completion of his master’s.
