Quick introduction
His love for food encouraged Sanket to complete his BSc in culinary arts from a premiere college located in Pune. After acquiring culinary skill sets, he immediately joined one of the 5-star hotels in Mumbai, where he worked for a year and a half. Sanket decided to take his passion a notch higher by opening up a bakery. He noticed how other businesses were ramping up production and sales to achieve business growth. This encouraged him to pursue an MBA to develop his business acumen, sharpen his finance-related knowledge, and acquire marketing skills to run a successful venture.

About his educational institute - University Canada West

How did his networking skills help him find his dream university?
During his stint with a premiere hotel in Mumbai, he met with a friend whose brother was pursuing his MBA from UCW. So, his friend recommended UCW for a business management course. After conducting online research and checking the university website, Sanket found that UCW gives the flexibility to choose the specialisation in the second year. Since he desired to pursue an MBA in Entrepreneurship, he resolved to pursue his higher education at UCW.
He got all the necessary details about the course structure and contact details of the university consultant from the website. He connected with UCW’s consultant to clarify his doubts and understand the study program in detail. Apart from their official website, he also visited their social media handles to gather all the necessary information.
So, this is all about Sanket’s academic journey so far, his educational institute, course and how he found his dream university. In the next episode, we will learn about his reasons for choosing Canada, how he drafted a compelling SOP, English proficiency tests, and Student Direct Stream (SDS) & Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC).
