The Sloan School of Management at MIT offers a two-year, full-time MBA
program. The first semester is called the core semester and the core curriculum
includes Economic Analysis for Business Decisions, Data, Models & Decisions,
Communication for Leaders, Organizational Processes and Financial Accounting.
The optional core electives are Managerial Finance, Intro to Operations
Management, Competitive Strategy and Marketing Innovation. After the
first-semester, students need to complete three more semesters. In total, one
completes 144 units of electives. There is also an option to take up to three
approved, non-MIT Sloan graduate-level MIT or Harvard subjects. Some students

formats of MBA program – Full-time MBA Program (21 months), Evening &
Weekend MBA Program (2.5 – 3 years) and MBA for Executives Program (19 months).
The full-time program is divided into Fall A & B and Spring A & B.
