  • Complete your bachelor’s degree before applying for an MBA course. Keep all your academic transcripts ready.
  • Appear for any of the following language proficiency tests:
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

    • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) exclusively for MBA exams

While there is no tuition fee for some public colleges, education in private educational institutions can be expensive. The annual cost of the MBA program is approximately EUR 10,000 to EUR 50,000, around INR 8,95,600 to INR 44,78,000. The cost will vary depending on the university you select.

  • Accommodation will be a major expense when you study in Germany, which will be ~EUR 625 to 1,700 i.e. ~INR 56,000 to INR 1,52,000 per month. The monthly expenses, including groceries, electricity, phone bills, transport etc., can cost around EUR 530, which will be ~INR 47,500.

Things to remember when studying in Germany

  • You need to open a blocked bank account to transfer funds, indicating you have sufficient money to study in Germany. The amount you require to hold in this account is EUR 11,208, i.e., ~INR 10,03,800. This account stays blocked until you arrive in Germany and complete the formalities your service provider prescribes.

  • Student visa
  • You will need Student Visa (Visum Zu Studienzwecken) to study in Germany. Also, if you choose to work part-time to support your lifestyle, you can work up to 20 hours per week during your course. During semester breaks, you can choose to work more than 20 hours per week.
