The best time to study abroad is NOW! Here’s why

The COVID-19 crisis hit us last year, which created a significant roadblock for the students aspiring to study abroad. However, many institutions and countries are going out of their way to welcome international students this year. Let’s take a look at some recent updates that will guide you in your academic quest.

Initiatives taken by the universities

Universities have introduced amazing perks like airport pickups, quarantine facilities, discounts on travel & food, and more such exciting benefits to attract international students. Many universities have even extended the application deadlines and eased entrance exam requirements. Keeping in mind the unprecedented situation, even Avanse introduced processes to help students apply for education loans online from the comfort of their homes and have eased the overall application and evaluation procedures.

Link the passport number in the vaccine certificate in 5 easy steps

So, why must you link the passport number to the vaccine certificate? Because you will require this certificate to travel abroad with your passport number linked to it.

Follow these five easy steps to add passport details in the vaccine certificate:

  1. Login to CoWIN website using your registered mobile number
  2. Select the “Raise Issue” option
  3. Select the passport option
  4. Select the name of the person from the drop-down box
  5. Enter the passport number and hit “Submit”. You can immediately download the certificate for your reference.
Things to remember while linking the passport:
  1. The passport number will be added to the certificate if you carried the passport along with you when you took your first jab
  2. Do not worry if you did not carry your passport. In this case, the details of the photo ID proof that you carried along will be linked to the vaccination certificate
  3. If the name on the certificate is incorrect, you have an option to correct it
  4. However, you can make the changes only once. So please keep this in mind when you upload your details
Vaccine Passport

A document containing information about your vaccination status is a vaccine passport. This allows the authorities to understand if you are partially or fully vaccinated. COVID test results can be added to the vaccine passport too. A vaccine passport is a concept of bundling the vaccination-related documents together so that you can produce them when required by the respective authorities.

So, are you all geared up with the vaccine passport but still confused if you should opt for an education loan? Well, funding your own education has several benefits. It allows you to pursue your academic journey without having to liquidate your assets or pledging gold. To know why taking a student loan is a prudent choice by clicking here.

What about the second dose

While the Indian government has given a green signal to take the second jab after 28 days, it has set specific guidelines. You will have to furnish relevant documents to prove that your university has confirmed your admission. If you are planning to take admission for this intake but wondering how to get an education loan easily, then our expert team will guide you through the entire process.

Do not let finance-related worries trouble you because we, at Avanse, will provide an education loan that covers the holistic cost of education, including the travelling expense.
