Although Australian universities have tuition fees which are costlier than the global average, they make up for the cost by offering a higher standard of living compared to the rest of the globe. They offer a superior learning experience and international recognition with acclaimed teaching standards. Preferred English language test for Australian universities is IELTS.

In case you think that Australia is where you need to head to, then do read further to find about:

Fees/ Visa – Estimated fees on average range from AU$10,000 to 18,500 for graduate and undergrad courses. In order to apply for an undergraduate degree, students will require a Higher Education Sector: Temporary Visa (Subclass 573). Minimum visa requirements for Australia includes complete offer letter from the chosen institution, proof of payment, eCOE (electronic confirmation of enrolment) and proof of funds to cover course fees and living expenses.

Application procedure – There is no federal or state level application system for international students applying to Australian varsities, so students need to apply directly to the university, usually online and often for a fee. International students are required to demonstrate and/or declare that they have genuine access to sufficient funds to be granted a Student visa. Depending on their assessment level, applicants may have to demonstrate sufficient funds to cover these expenses for the first one or two years in Australia.

Upon acceptance of the course that they offer, universities will ask students to attest that they would be able to secure enough funding to be able to contribute to the cost of travel, tuition, school costs of any dependents, and living costs. Avanse Education Loan offers the Avanse Pre Admission Loan (PAL) option. This is designed to help students who are planning to pursue their higher education overseas when admission is not secured unless the student has demonstrated “Assured Funding to Complete the Course”. Avanse’s PAL option serves as an assured and valid funding source at the time of application thus increasing the likelihood of admission to the University / Campus of choice for the applicants. Students thus can start smart on securing admission to an Australian seat of higher learning by partnering with Avanse!
